From the Telegraph & Argus of October 30, 1981...Most of Bradford's Citizen Band radio enthusiasts will still be using illegal equipment on Monday, when new legislation makes CB radio legal in Bradford. One estimate says only 300 of the city's 3000 breakers will change their rigs to suit the new law.

From the Telegraph & Argus of October 30, 1956...Bradford City Council met this afternoon to decide the future of Yeadon Aerodrome, for which the Air Ministry have offered a reported £90,000. Ald H K Watson said he believed that members held the opinion that they were taking the first step towards forming a municipal aerodrome for Leeds and Bradford.
