From the Telegraph & Argus of October 2, 1981...Bradford Council is to save £54,000 a year by reorganising transport of old people attending day centres. The new arrangements involve changing attendance days, new routes and cutting the number of vehicles involved. Councillor Paul Clarke, chairman of the council's residential sub-committee, said no-one would be spending less time at day centres as a result.
