From the Telegraph & Argus of September 16, 1956...Taken from the Telegraph & Argus of September 16, 1956 A Bradford butcher who paints in his spare time, last night put the finishing touches to his biggest work. The painting will be part of a "Life of Christ" pageant to be presented at Odsal Stadium, Bradford, in just over a week. J. Hurley Ellison, of Worden Grove, Clayton, added the final touches of paint with a flourish and laid down his brush with a sigh of contentment.
