25 years ago: Bradford was set to host the National Breakdown International Rally again. The top motor sport event started and finished in the city centre in February for the first time, and the organisers and Bradford Council are hoping to repeat the success.
50 years ago: Council houses built in Bradford since 1945 totalled 10,221 while private builds had put up 4,180, Ministry of Housing returns show.
