Taken from the Telegraph & Argus of May 16, 1981...A bride-to-be will become an instant mother and grandmother when she marries later this month. Connie Trojanski, 27, of Shipley, will walk down the aisle to wed farmer Ar thur Hollins, who at 66 years old is 39 years her senior. Miss Trojanski will become stepmother to three children, all older than her, and grandmother to their children. The happy couple said the age difference made no difference to their relationship - which began four years ago when Miss Trojanski arrived as a holidaymaker at Mr Hollins's farm in Shropshire.

Taken from the Telegraph & Argus of May 16, 1956...Work has started on a Christadelphian Hall, being built in Shipley. The new hall, which will seat 80 to 100 people, will face Park Street. Members of the group will help with the plumbing, electrical installations, joinery and decorations. The venue will provide an alternative to the Liberal Club, where Christadelphians have been meeting for more than 20 years.
