25 Years Ago: A gunman had caused terror in a packed Bradford nightclub when he opened fire with a .44 Magnum revolver. One man was shot several times as the gunman fired into a crowd of more than 200 revellers at the Britannia Club, Manningham.
50 Years Ago: Bradford Corporation had agreed to take over and run the 100-year-old Bradford Wool Exchange, so that the world-famous institution could be kept alive and vigorous. The surprise move was a result of discussions between two bodies to help with financial difficulties.
