25 Years Ago: A man from Bradford had been shot dead while on holiday in Florida. The 34-year-old had died instantly and his girlfriend, 35, was also injured, when a gang opened fire on their car in the town of Tallahassee.
50 Years Ago: Fantastic group The Rockin’ Berries were making their first appearance at the Ritz Theatre Club, Brighouse. The five boys from Birmingham, had been working successfully together since 1959, combining comedy routines with music.
