Bradford's 200 Tetley pubs are likely to run out of beer by next week and will have to sell alternative ales. The shortage is cause by an unofficial strike by the 200 draymen at Joshua Tetley's brewery in Hunslet, Leeds.
John Moore, former president of the Bradford licensee associations and landlord of the White Bear in Leeds Road, Bradford, which is a Tetley pub, said: "I was one of the fortunate ones who got a delivery the day before the strike."

Shoppers are warned to be on their guard against purse snatchers who are working in Bradford.
They have lifted a total of £80 from hand bags and shopping bags in the last four days.
Yesterday was the worst day with nine cases being reported to Bradford city police and since the beginning of the week 19 shoppers have reported losing money. Alarmed by this outbreak of theft the police appealed to shoppers to take extra care.
