25 years ago: Residents on the Woodside Estate in Bradford were set to hand in a petition to Council housing chiefs campaigning for a two-storey block of flats in which a toddler died to be demolished and replaced with modern social housing.
50 years ago: The Minister for Housing and Local Government rejected an application by Bradford Council to amend its City Development Plan to allow 375 acres of land at Tong to be used for housing, but granted permission for a 42-acre site on King's Road in Swain House.
