25 years ago: A Bradford policeman on patrol in Reevy Road West, Buttershaw, was praised for rushing to save a ten month-old baby's life after the child's frantic parents discovered he was choking on his tongue, clearing the infant's airway until he started breathing again.
50 years ago: Tom Fraser, the Minister for Transport, said passengers on the Bradford to Huddersfield train line, set for closure on June 14, would be invited to complete a survey testing the effect the proposed change would have on their everyday lives.
