25 years ago: A night cashier needed 17 stitches to his head after being brutally attacked at a service station on Leeds Road in Bradford, with a man who claimed he had run out of petrol leaving him unconscious on the forecourt.
50 years ago: Bradford ambulances were called to nine separate incidents after pubs in the city centre closed for the night, with seven people - five men and two women - taken to hospital as a result of a series of "late-night brawls".
