25 years ago: Three people were arrested on suspicion of possessing drugs and selling alcohol illegally after scores of police raided a 200-strong party in the cellar of the Bombay Brasserie in Westgate, Bradford. The owners said they had known nothing of the 200-strong gathering when they closed the restaurant at 1am.
50 years ago: Yorkshire CCC was bowled out for only 23 in a County Championship game against Hampshire, the county's lowest score of all time, beating the previous lowest of 26 against Surrey in 1909.
