25 years ago: Arsonists went on the rampage through the Lower Grange Estate in Bradford, setting fire to five houses on Charteris Road, Vivien Road, and Merlin Grove, with fire chiefs declaring the incidents a "night of mindless vandalism that put lives at risk."
50 years ago: An elderly Bradford woman escaped serious injury when part of the gable-end of her cottage in Hardy Place, Wibsey, collapsed, with the 73 year-old able to flee the house before a shower of stones came crashing to the ground.
