25 years ago: TV presenter Michaela Strachan branded Bradford’s clubbers “aggressive” and “the roughest in the country”, after filming her disco TV show, ‘Hit Man and Her’, at the city’s Palace nightclub.
50 years ago: Bradford detectives were investigating a night-time raid on the Robin Hood Hotel in Towngate, Wyke, in which thieves broke in through a kitchen window and stole 28 bottles of whisky and 5,000 cigarettes.
