25 years ago: An internal Bradford Council survey revealed that more than one in three teachers across the district wanted to quit their jobs, citing stress, disruptive pupils and lack of time for marking.
50 years ago: Two men were killed and 13 people injured when a diesel train travelling from Manchester lost control and crashed into a stationary parcels train at Bradford’s Exchange station.
