25 years ago: Bradford Council admitted that thousands of pounds in car-parking revenue was being lost across the district, after new parts allowing meters to process higher charges failed to arrive on time.
50 years ago: Queensbury and Shelf Council said it would press on with its bid to install traffic lights at the “very busy and dangerous” junction of High Street and Brighouse Road in Queensbury.
