25 years ago: The Telegraph & Argus began a campaign to declare ‘War on Litter’, supporting Bradford Council in its fight against litter louts and fly-tippers in areas such as the badly-polluted Bradford Beck.
50 years ago: Several people were taken to hospital when a Bradford Corporation double-decker bus went out of control at the junction of Bowling Back Lane and Sticker Lane and careered 150 yards across two demolition sites.
