From the Telegraph & Argus of November 6, 1981...Barbara Crabb put her foot in it when she tried to lift her husband - and ended up with a broken foot. But Mrs Crabb, of Thornton Road, Bradford turned domestic disaster into money- spinning success. She charged people to sign the plaster cast on her leg and when she went to Bradford Royal Infirmary today to have it removed there was £135 to swell the hospital's Body Scanner Appeal.

From the Telegraph & Argus of November 6, 1956...The remodelled Keighley post office in Cook Lane, was opened today by the Mayor of Keighley, Ald J A Taylor. For over a year structural alterations have been taking place inside the building to improve accommodation.
