From the Telegraph & Argus of November 4, 1956...The average Bradford girl does not sigh for a home in the country or a job as a milkmaid on a farm. Instead she prefers to work in the city centre, a survey has shown. The conclusion was reached as a result of an inquiry inspired by Mr R Lindermann, chairman and managing director of a Manchester firm.
