Nick Hannah, of Brighouse, has been selected as a member of the TRI UK-sponsored race team for a series of national triathlon races throughout the 2011 season.

Team manager Ali Boon said: “Nick was a natural choice when we were selecting our team for 2011.

“We have grown to a 50-plus strong team which is now the envy of the triathlon world.

“Nick’s dedication and loyalty meant that he was an obvious choice for the team.”

Hannah said: “I only started triathlons two years ago so to be selected on a race team is still sinking in but it has given me a massive boost for this season.”
