Keighley triathlete Jimmy Lund is celebrating making it on to the start list for the Rome World Cup.
He has been racing mainly in Britain recently in an attempt to qualify for World Cup events but required two podium results to make it.
Lund has now achieved that with a second place at Eton Dorney and then at Mallory Park in the British Championships.
That means he will be lining up in Rome on October 7.
Lund has spoken to the Keighley News and Telegraph and Argus about World Cup qualification being his target for 2023, and those results at Eton Dorney and Mallory Park will allow him to race at World Cup level next year too.
