ANASTASIA Lincoln broke the timing cut to finish in 2hr 56min 11sec in the BRASS-MONKEY HALF MARATHON from York Racecourse.
Lincoln was last of the 1,462 finishers, with there being just one dropping out despite Sunday's wintry conditions.
The Idle Athletics Club member is one of the most popular runners in Bradford, turning out almost weekly in Yorkshire events.
At the front end of the race, a group of seven had a big gap, with Daniel Jenkin (Durham City) eventually beating John Franklin of Serpentine RC in London by four seconds in 1:08:57.
Otley's Scott Harrington was last of this pack in 1:10:50 but he was followed home by clubmate Frank Beresford in eighth in 1:12:06.
Julian Hood, from the recently-founded Barlick Fell Runners, was 17th in 1:14:41, while Will Morris of Airecentre Pacers made the top 50 in 1:18:24.
Edinburgh's Shona McIntosh was a clear female winner in 1:16:13, while Ilkley's Jane McCarthy was 13th lady in 1:26:57 – two places ahead of Rebecca Cesar de Sa (Skyrac) in 1:28:05.
Off the racecourse, the BRADFORD ATHLETICS NETWORK is consolidating a new five-year strategic plan for developing the sport in the area.
Having recently won an award for SportsShare – its social enterprise – it is becoming a beacon for piloting national developments.
Chris Jones, chief executive of England Athletics, is visiting Keighley and Bradford on February 3-4 to discuss strategic developments.
He is also scheduled to lay the first stud for four new Greenline Mile training routes.
Bradford is a pioneer in developing a full network, with funding coming from England Athletics and Bradford's Council's department of public health.
These courses are intended for urban areas to stimulate walking, jogging and running. They are on well-lit streets, with green studs every few yards.
The initial four Bradford routes are along Thornton Road from the Odeon around the university campus; in Little Germany; around Barkerend and Myra Shay; and from Lister Park to Valley Parade.
