Snow bother for Lydia
Lydia Farley impressed at the Bradford Schools’ Cross-Country Championships at Northcliffe Playing Fields.
The 17-year-old won the senior girls’ race, completing the undulating 3,800-metre course in just over 15 minutes, despite the covering of snow and mud.
This performance has earned her a place in the Bradford Schools’ team which will travel to Silcoates School, Wakefield on Saturday, February 7 for the West Yorkshire Schools’ Championships.
