Shipley's Luke Pinder and co-driver Martyn Taylor added another award to their tally with a class victory at the Wales Rally GB. The pair had an almost completely trouble free run in the 225-mile event.
The only worries were confined to a fuse that jumped out in the rough conditions and a steadily deteriorating second gear.
"It has been a fantastic experience and to win the class on an FIA World Rally Championship event is brilliant," said Pinder.
The MGZR was the lowest powered car in the event yet it still finished 66th overall from an entry list of 132.
After three days of gruelling stages behind them, the pair expressed relief to have completed what was the longest rally either had contested.
"After I retired so early last year I'm relieved to get to the finish with the car in one piece," said Pinder.
