Bradford Olympic Wrestling Club sent a skilled team to the Aspull International Open at Wigan, and they performed well.
Tommy Hawthorn got gold in the junior 69kg and sister Katie Hawthorn won the junior 48kg.
Leo Hawthorn took silver in the schoolboys’ 30kg, as did Husaam Ali in the schoolboys’ 32kg, Ikram Sadeeq in the senior 60kg and Ollie Cheatham in the junior 63kg.
Andy Bennett won Bradford’s sole bronze in the junior 76kg.
Delighted Bradford coach Jimmy Hawthorn said: “They performed outstandingly and we are fast becoming the number one club in the country in the junior section.”
