THREE Bradford Bulldogs Ice Hockey Club players have been chosen for the Great Britain under-16 squad.
Harrison Walker (netminder), Jacob Lutwyche (forward) and Jordan Griffin (defence) hope to help their country win international tournaments over Christmas and Easter.
Kieran Brown, formerly of Bradford Bulldogs but currently playing for Iowa Wild in the United States, has also been selected.
Great Britain will face teams from Belgium, the Netherlands and Spain at Dumfries Ice Bowl from Wednesday, December 28 to Friday, December 30, while the tournament in Spain will be held in April.
Bradford Bulldogs' head coach Andy Brown said “We are so proud to have three of our players selected from our small club to represent Great Britain.
"It is testament to their hard work, commitment and love of the game, and the skill of our coaches. The whole club will be behind them.”
Great Britain head coach Rob Wilkinson, said: “I believe, potentially, we have one of the best teams I’ve ever been involved with.”
Bradford Ice Arena has a beginners' stick and puck session every Wednesday (5.30pm-6.15pm).
Any child aged six upwards with good skating ability can join the training sessions.
