ENGLISH champions Bradford Bulldogs under-14s have cemented their fine season by winning the prestigious Sheffield tournament against six other elite teams from England, Scotland and Wales.
In the qualifying rounds, Bradford secured robust victories over Milton Keynes, Kilmarnock and Nottingham, while nail-biting victories against Cardiff and Swindon and a 5-5 draw against arch-rivals Sheffield Stormers assured them of their place in the final, also against the Stormers.
After a long weekend of action, the final proved to be a battle of the strongest, which Bradford won 3-0.
Meanwhile, the club want to recruit new players from aged five upwards to join them and help continue their success.
Bradford Ice Arena has a beginners' ice hockey session every Wednesday (5.30pm-6.30pm).
