Peter Finbow helped Great Britain to the brink of the wheelchair basketball quarter-finals with a comprehensive 87-58 victory over Poland at the Basketball Arena.
Great Britain lost their opening two games to Germany and Canada but bounced back in style against Colombia and were far superior against Poland meaning a win against Japan today will see them through - and they could even lose and still advance.
And Bradford-born Finbow believes Great Britain now have the wind in their sails as they start to turn their attentions to the knock-out stages.
"We were coming into this game full of confidence, the game against Germany is well and truly out of the system now," said 37-year-old Finbow.
"We pick ourselves up and move on and unfortunately we played a great team in Canada but we're on a momentum swing now.
"Everybody played well as a team and everybody was on the same page. There weren't any individuals out there. Individuals are performing well but we stuck to the game plan and the result is credit to what we did out there as a team.
"We're not complacent and we know we have to do a job against Japan but we're very confident in what can achieve here."
