Matthew Jacques recovered from 16-11 down to defeat twin brother Chris 21-17 in the final as he retained the BRADFORD JUNIOR HANDICAP at Queensbury.

The Shipley Club duo had overcome another pair of siblings, the Mordues of Brighouse Sports, in the last four as Matthew beat Oliver 21-13 while Chris edged out Josh 21-18.

* Mally Fowler (Ladyhill) and Debbie Davis (Pudsey) teamed up to win the BRADFORD MIXED PAIRS MERIT at Lister Park.

They claimed the Texere Yarns-sponsored title for the first time after beating Eccleshill duo Andy and Helen Gilroy 21-12 in the decider.

Fowler and Davis had defeated defending champions Paul Hillam (Eccleshill) and Angela Carter (Littlemoor) 21-15 in the semi-finals.
