Bradford Maroons’ winning run came to an and with a 104-62 home defeat to Rossendale Raptors.
The result was pretty much sealed after a first quarter which finished with the Maroons trailing 35-15, and the impressive Mancunian team extended their lead in each of the remaining sessions to hand the Maroons their heaviest defeat of the season.
Top scoring for Bradford Maroons were Cyrus Dennis with 26 points, followed by Dut Malek and Rueben Malek with 16 and seven points respectively.
Following this loss, the Maroons have slipped to fifth place in English Basketball League Division Four North, and they will hope to get back to winning ways on Sunday when they host Oldham Titans at Parkside Sports Centre (2.30).
