Bradford Maroons overcame a slow start to notch their third straight win in English Basketball League Division Four North, defeating Mold Magic 86-60.

Trailing 15-12 at the end of the first quarter, the Maroons stepped up a gear in the second session and were ahead by eight points at half-time and continued to extend their lead in the last two quarters, the only downer being an injury to Jules Soobayah in the second quarter which sidelined him for the rest of the match.

Nathan Dennis was top scorer for the Maroons with 18 points, followed by Dut Malek and Cyrus Dennis with 17 and 14 points.

Maroons remain in third but will probably face a tougher test this Sunday when they host fellow play-off hopefuls Rossendale Raptors at Parkside Road Sports Centre (2.30).
