Competitors from as far afield as Middlesbrough, York and Doncaster took part in the inaugural Halloween Meet hosted by City of Bradford at Shipley Pool.
The City team looked impressive up against strong opposition as they collected a large collection of medals and personal best times.
National finalists Myles Stirk and James Lund took the plaudits in their respective age groups.
Stirk produced some outstanding performances to take home eight golds in the 11-years freestyle, backstroke and medley events.
Recovering from injury, 12-year-old Lund struck gold in all three of his favoured breaststroke events.
Also taking home three golds in the boys’ events were Matthew Brown and Andrew Metterick, while two golds went to Sam O’Donohoe in the 15-years-and-over 50 metres backstroke and butterfly.

This year the event featured a new formula and was handicapped.

All swimmers train with Bradford Leisure Services’ aquatic competition programme at various venues throughout the city.
