Dragons Women continued their unbeaten start to the season with a 65-36 victory over visiting Harrogate Raiders in the Leeds & District League – shattering their perfect start of five consecutive wins.
Leading scorers were Rhianna Mae Laing (13) and Louise Hunte (ten).
Dragons have now won three out of three in the league and coach Mark Gunn said: “Although we are entering the third month of the women’s programme we are still just coming together as a team for the long season ahead.
“The temptation is to look forwards and wonder what could happen but in reality we are just working as hard as we can and focusing on one game at a time.”
This week the women are in action at Derby Trailblazers in the National Founders Cup.
