A number of Bradford League bowlers will be hoping to progress to the final from the latest Pudsey Classic qualifying round.
Steve Powell of Brighouse Sports takes on Mick Morris (Spen Victoria) in the first round while Hedley Kettlewell, also of Brighouse, will be one of the favourites to advance as he opens with a match against John Webster of Alverthorpe.

Sheffield's Chris Brown and Gary Ellis from Whitefield were this week's qualifiers in the prestigious competition.
Brown beat Pudsey Littlemoor's Steven Gilroy 21-5 in the last qualifying game and will now play Shipley Club's Ian Shaw in the first round of the final on Saturday, October 7.

This weekend features two excellent line-ups to complete the qualifying rounds, with play starting at 6.30pm on both nights.
Friday's action sees Lee Lawton of Failsworth joined by a strong Halifax contingent led by Roy and Gareth Nicholson and Ian Bottomley.
Saturday will then feature Bolton's Kevan Shaw in a tough first-round game against Roy Price from Stoke.
