The Bradford Table Tennis Winter League begins this week and reigning Division One champions and cup holders Dewsbury Sedbergh make the defence of their trophies without their best player from last season, Mark Land.
Sedbergh were unbeaten throughout last season but Land has decided to make a surprising move to Highdale, where he will team up with Richard Whiteley and Graham Manicom.
He has been replaced in the squad by Ian Denton.
Embassy have two teams in the top flight for the first time and have added Mann Younis from Laisterdyke and Shamir Bose from Highdale to their squads.
The Yorkshire League began last weekend, with Bradford Vets 2 drawing with Leeds 3. Geoff Dunne won two while Mick Kosmowsky and George Bak supplied one each for Bradford.
Bradford third team lost 9-1 against Keighely 2. Glen Ellis from Hermits made his debut and registered the only victory.
