Five City of Bradford youngsters are competing in this week’s British Gas ASA National Youth Championships at Ponds Forge in Sheffield.
Sian Morgan, 16, qualified for all 14 events this year, while Luke Constantine, 18, and James Dawson, 15, gained two qualifying times each.
Sam O’Donohoe, 15, and David Brown, 16, both qualified in one event.
All five swimmers are coached by Andy Pearce.
Qualifiers – Sian Morgan (16 years): 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m freestyle, 100m and 200m backstroke, 100m and 200m breaststroke, 100m and 200m butterfly, 200m and 400m individual medley; David Brown (16 years): 100m breaststroke; James Dawson (15 years): 100m and 200m breaststroke; Luke Constantine (18 years): 200m breaststroke, 200m individual medley; Sam O’Donohoe (15 years): 200m backstroke.
