There are several derby clashes in Division Two of the Bradford Summer Table Tennis League, with Hermits providing four of the eight teams, but there will not be many closer finishes than the match between Hermits C and Hermits D.
The C team looked on course for a routine win when they recovered from 2-1 down to lead 5-2, with Chris Town unbeaten.
But the D team staged a dramatic comeback as Allan Miles-Turner came from 2-0 adrift to pip Martin Jackson 13-11 in the fifth game.
Then Harjit Chana overcame Les Packer 11-5, also in the final game, before Miles-Turner and Bob Underwood came from behind in the doubles to earn a draw.
Meanwhile, the Bower Cup semi-finals line-up is almost complete. Yeadon B will play Unity A, while holders Pudsey will meet either Hermits D or Unity B.
