Yorkshire booked their place in the knock-out semi-finals of the BRITISH PARKS SENIOR COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIP on Sunday, August 15 after beating Wallasey 22-9 in their final Section A game.
In the home match at Pudsey Littlemoor, Harry Seehra (Spen Victoria) was the leading individual with a 21-2 success as Yorkshire carded eight winners for an aggregate 60-chalk verdict. In the away match at Quarry Vikings BC, Yorkshire won the aggregate by just two points as David Hilliam (Pudsey) made an impressive debut with a 21-11 victory.

Bradford logged an impressive 38-18 win over Wakefield in their latest YORKSHIRE VETERANS INTER-DISTRICT LEAGUE match.
In the home match at Oakenshaw, Bradford carded seven winners for an aggregate advantage of a massive 59 chalks, Alan Standing (Asa Briggs) and Graham Oliver (Knowles) both carding 21-5 successes.
In the away match at Ossett C&BC, both teams carded four winners with Wyke’s Ken Green (21-10) the pick of the Bradford team as they lost the aggregate by only six chalks.

The venue for the Asa Briggs B v Brackenhill match has been changed to Peel as Lister was not available.
