Rihards Sulcs netted an outstanding 54 points as Bradford Maroons lifted the Leeds & District Knockout Cup with a thrilling 91-88 victory over Leeds Carnegie.
A hard-fought contest saw the Maroons finish the opening quarter ahead, only for Carnegie to hold a lead throughout the following two sessions.
There was little between the teams in the final period and the lead changed hands frequently in the dying minutes.
Maroons fans were anxious when, with 30 seconds remaining and their side just a single point ahead, Leeds held possession for a potentially game-winning offensive.
But Lionel Choong Li Reai made a dazzlingly quick steal near the Carnegie net and he converted the chance to seal a memorable win as Sulcs was rewarded with the MVP trophy.
