Former champion GT racer Tim Sugden will race for ThunderAsia Racing of Singapore in the SuperGT series this season.
The Bradford ace will drive their new Mosler GT300 car in Japan’s top race series, which is supported by many of the leading Japanese manufacturers including Lexus, Honda, Nissan and Subaru as well as featuring cars from Porsche and Ferrari.
The series will replace the Porsche Carrera Cup Asia (PCCA) series in Sugden’s schedule. “I have finished as champion, third and second in the PCCA in the last three years so it is time for a new challenge,” said Sugden.
