Two failures in the closing stages of the televised FIM World Arena Trial at Palma, Majorca cost Cookridge rider James Dabill third place in the event and third place in the world indoor championship standings.
Dabill was matching the best riders in the world but failed one vital section that cost him third place by one championship point.
Dabill now turns his attention to training for the outdoor World Series which starts on April 18 in Spain.
On Sunday he is favourite to win Yeadon-Guiseley club’s Chris Carter Novogar Championship trial at Dob Park.
