Otley’s Lizzie Armitstead had to settle for the silver medal in the women’s team pursuit at the World Track Championships in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Armitstead, Wendy Houvenaghel and Joanna Rowsell were beaten by Australia in the final, while third-place New Zealand broke Britain's world record in the bronze medal race.
