Places are limited, so book early to avoid disappointment. Our next general meeting is on Tuesday, March 16, which is also the presentation evening.
There is also a buffet, so please come along and bring you wife, partner, girlfriend or boyfriend. Non-members will be made most welcome.
Saltaire AA
After breaking the ice, Sunday’s canal match result was: 1 Richard East (Saltaire AA) 6lb 3oz; 2 Ian Dawson (Mirfield AC) 4lb 10½oz. The catches featured roach, bream and perch. To book for Sunday’s canal match, phone Richard on 07815-092966. Extra canal matches are planned for March 7 and 14. Sunday’s river match was cancelled early morning due to poor weather and travel conditions and prospects not improving. To book for Sunday’s river match, phone Barrie on 07917-828826.
FIELD AC
This year’s annual meeting is on Sunday, March 7, and will be held in the Fighting Cock from 12.30pm onwards. Memberships and match venues will be available on the day. Can last year’s aggregate points and weight winners please ensure they are present to pick up their rod licences. This year’s membership is £5 for seniors and £2.50 for ladies and concessions. New and old members are welcome.
SPENBOROUGH AA
Members old and new are reminded that our annual meeting and presentation of trophies will be held on Wednesday, March 3 at The Black Bull Inn, Birstall (8.30pm).
