The race for the Bradford League Division Three table tennis title is still in the balance as Fastbats C and Fastbats D drew against each other for the third time.
Craig Knowles of the D team has been a model of consistency and he clocked up another treble as his side led five times.
Tony Hutton supplied the other two wins but once again honours finished even. Helen Shields (two victories), Keith Smith and Andy Walker (one apiece) hit back for the C team and the doubles went in favour of Shields and Smith to keep both teams’ unbeaten records going.
Noel Seery, of Hermits F, seemed invincible in Division Five but came unstuck against Hughie Chambers of Unity E.
Another player to lose his perfect record was Steve Worsman of Unity D, who was pipped 12-10 in the fifth game by Pudsey B’s John Ainley in Division Four.
