Silsden’s Dougie Lampkin got his 2010 FIM Indoor Enduro World Cup campaign back on track with a hard fought fourth place overall in the second round at Genoa in Italy.
Lampkin was “far happier” with his performance this time out, following his disappointing showing in the opening round at Sheffield.
But he was still frustrated at having missed out on a final podium place after a small mistake in the last race of the night pushed him out of the top three.
The trial was won by Pole Tadeusz Blazusiak, with Ivan Cervantes second and Swede Joakim Ljunggren third.
