Beta ruled supreme at Howden Woods on Boxing Day where the Bradford Motor Club staged their annual battle of the woods.
For the first time on British soil for many years, Dougie Lampkin went down to his young Preston adversary, and Beta–UK colleague, Shaun Morris.
The Silsden multi-world champion lost three penalties on the hillclimb, while Morris managed the climb without penalty.
