Ben Rhydding’s Sam French, also attached to Pennine Pumas, has been selected in the boys’ under-16 squad.
The Ermysted’s pupil and Leigh can expect warm-weather training camps in Gibraltar, as well as training sessions and camps in the United Kingdom and an Easter Four Nations Tournament.
In the pipeline for Petty are also a Four Nations Tournament at Easter and UK-based training camps and sessions, but in addition there will be Test matches, the Euro-Hockey Youth Nations Championships and the UK School Games.
