Bradford Maroons' three-game unbeaten run came to an end with a 73-59 home defeat against Mansfield Giants.
For the first three quarters, there was little to choose between the teams, with the lead changing several times, but the Maroons lost the game in a last quarter which saw them score only nine points.
This Sunday, the first Bradford derby in EBL Division Three North takes place when the Maroons host Bradford Dragons at Parkside Road Sports Centre (2.30).
Both teams enjoyed an away victory over the other last season.
