Phil Short extended his unbeaten run in the 1400cc Mod Prod class to over two years with a win in his Mini at Loton Park.
Blessed with dry weather for the first meeting since April, the Ilkley driver took a comfortable class win at the Shropshire course.
However, he was unable to improve on his personal best due to persistent brake problems which saw him on the grass on his final run.
The World Rally Championship resumes this weekend so Short will be heading to Finland, where his BP-Ford WR Team bid to maintain their lead in both the drivers' and manufacturers' championships.
