This is the second time in five weeks that Edmondson has taken first prize and, on current form, it certainly won’t be his last.
Impressive wins over Paul Toon (Highton) 21-5, Danny Fountain (Brighouse Sports) 21-17, Gary Foulkes (Ossett Flying Horse) 21-9 and Gareth Coates (Halifax) 21-15 saw him through to the final, which he was always in control of.
